THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER
ok so i only lost my memories for that one run - next life i had all of my memories again so i didn’t have to cure the shimmer from scratch, thank christ
but like the dread i felt in that moment was so thrilling i’m still not over it! i fucking love the way this game both entices you to and punishes you for metagaming… like the the impulse to try everything and achieve every wild outcome is built right in to the themes and worldbuilding and story and gameplay!! like the “i can’t stop telling ppl abt my memories from a past life and they think i’m crazy and want to institutionalize me” isn’t a unique storyline but the fact it also has a gameplay penalty that’s thematically consistant?? I LOVE IT SO MUCH
